  1. Yes I understand your point. From my perspective I would recommend to take in account the fact that in the end is a prototype, so you cannot pretend to eat curbs like in a Carrera Cup car, so that might even be a point which add some realism.
To get further into details, I think the curb absorption of the car is quite dependend from the shape of the curb itself AND from the body roll phase you have when you take it: for istance, touching inside curbs at Schumacher-S in Nurburgring GP is not doable, while outside/corner exit ones were all pretty fine. Another example I want to mention is Nola: I had to work quite a bit with high speed damping to get the ability to drive tight on curbs in turns 11-12 (at the beginning i was taking off too much or floating over them/bouncing when landing), but in the end I sorted out so I think it's worth to say there is quite some room of adjustment.
In general we are not talking about an "easy" car due to front roll center mainly, but I wouldn't even speak about a "bug" just because riding the curbs on such a prototipe is not the easiest thing to do. I leave you with and advice: when curb riding is difficult, instead of trying to absorb them at best, make sure to keep the wheels on the ground as much time as you can with the setup and drive the compromise... ;)

Another wet-race with the complete broken dry- and wet-tyres of the LMP1. Let´s hope, that the forecast gets better.

  3. What is broken in the rain tyres? I remember that with the slicks you could stay out around 2 laps with 20% rain intensity, then you had to change because of the tyre getting too cold - it was also kinda nice and realistic tbh.
What did you find not working on wet tyres? Can you share Jan?

In the RA race we were all the time on the dry tyres, because the wet-tyres losse all the grip after 2-3 laps. If i remember correct you losse over 40 secs to Schubert, when you changed to the wets and they not.
You could also see, that every other class was on wet tyres and just the LMP1 stayed on try. Also you have nearly no wear on drys in wet-condition and you can do 5-6 stints on the mediums in this conditions.
I just hope, that we don´t get the random force-feedback pushes in the slow corners again. That was crazy in RA.

Maybe it´s not a bug, but the tyre-model works not good in wet conditions, but it´s a mod and you can not expect the same level as the orginal content.

  5. I completely forget that race xD
Yes, at Road America the track was bugged (problem wasn't the tyres). I did drive with wets only in Nola, everything was fine in that case but maybe there might be other problematic circuits? Dunno..

  6. Has anyone trained in the rain at Silverstone and can confirm that the rain tires works well?

Not yet, will do in a few hours. Hmm, maybe it was really the track, but just for the LMP1 and not for the other classes? We will see. On the other hand it´s the same for everyone, but i would prefere a dry race xD

It was the track, we where like 2-3 sec quicker with dry tyres as with rain tyres

Can confirm, LMP2 were forced to use dry tires on a damp track.

  10. OMG, other time like Road America... It isnt serious.

I tested it, the wet still has one problem, but this time it´s better in wet conditions then the medium xD

I just wanted to bring one thing up: Througout the last two days I spotted a couple of LMP2 drivers struggling to keep the car on track, lapping slower than some of the GTE runners (in the rain obviously), being 8 seconds off the pace in their own class.

I know this league is for everyone, regardless of skill level. It would still be nice if race control could keep an eye on that. Someone struggling to keep his own car on track can only become dangerous for everyone else once 30 cars hit the track.

  13. But what is the reason why they can't keep the car on the track?

Is it due to skill or because the tires are broken in the rain?

    Lmp2 tires aren't broken.

I don't know buddy, I have never tried the LMP during rain. I am really not trying to offend anyone, but if someone is ~10 seconds off the pace, slower than some of the GTE runners and struggling to keep the car on track, he will become dangerous and unpredictable for everyone around.

@David González there is no tyre issue. It was a track related issue in Road America that was bugged in the rain.

  17. Ok, better not be a mistake. I think we are not used to running in the rain and that requires a lot of training and a good setup

You need setup changes. Softer rear, more wing and rise the TC. I did a complete stint on 100% yesterday. It´s slow, but with shortshift quite nice to drive.
