  1. Hello gents, I was reading the rules and I would like a clarification regarding:
7.13.6 Pitlane is closed during a FCY
7.13.6.1 During a FCY it’s only allowed to refuel ~15l or do a driver swap

Does it mean it's still allowed to pit under FCY but ONLY to refuel 15lt (or driver swap)? I guess for cars that might be out of fuel right in the moment of the FCY.
In case of a positive feedback, I would suggest to change the text of the 7.13.6 adding a reference for an "exception" to avoid misunderstanding.

    ty :)

Yes, that's exactly what is meant, we will change the text accordingly. Thanks for the suggestion.

Hello ,where can I find the TeamSpeak server information?
    Thanks

  4. You are welcome.
However I might suggest to review also the amount of fuel during the discussed pitstop, as 15 lt is "a lot more" than what its needed to get the possibility to pit 1 lap later.
Actually on certain tracks this can become a several laps "advantage" in autonomy or even being enough to jump a splash, depending on the conditions/strategies.
To drop this quantity to 5lt might be a better choice if your target is to prevent FCYs to afflict the race strategies/results and to avoid the chance to get a crowded pitlane.

In the moment the registration of the LMP1 looks a little bit sad. Just 7 cars for a championship is not very good. Are there any thoughts or ideas, how to fix this?
Maybe change the car? Maybe to the Vanwall with -80kg or the URD-Hypers. Maybe the teams don´t want to run the ByKolles anymore?

The main problem is, that the Oreca is way to fast. It is more than 5 secs to fast. So every class over the LMP2 is also way to fast.
Maybe put +70 or +90 kg into the LMP2, then you would have a lot of options for an other Car in the top-category. But thats just my thoughts.

We've tried the Bykolles as well b4 the sign up. To be honest thats one of the biggest shitboxes i've ever driven. With a Vanvall it will be a bit more interesting. And please please dont give to the lmp2s any mass. I really wanna enjoy this lmp2 how is stand

The problem with the ByKolles is, that you really need a good setup. Without it´s really a buged shitbox. I personelly like it to drive, but atm it seems, that there are not many teams, who want to drive it.

There is a reason for this. I think you hit the head of the point

we wrote to the team and were told that our request was forwarded to the devs. We are still waiting for an update for the ByKolles. but we also discuss it.

  14. You could also add around 6% of HP to the car, lifting it from 680 to 720, which would still be in the ballpark of the real car´s, which where atleast close to those HP in some races, bop depending ofc.

But on the other hand, there has been already been done work by these teams that have entered with the lmp1. Be it skin work, ore other stuff. Also further paid car´s will make the series again more expensive. And there also might be people who have entered with the lmp1 because they want to race that thing, and are not interested in the LMH. But they have paid the entry fee, and then you change the car for them and force them into the LMH. It´s just not as easy for the admins as it seems on the first look to "just change to the LMH"

Just give the Oreca 100kg +/- and use the DPi / Vanvall with less weight. Problem solved.

On the paper the ByKolles is quick enough for 3 Class racing but its just a meme when the car is so hard to drive without a proper set.

Or asking for permission to use the LMP1s from Global Endurance, even better. I mean it was pretty clear after last season that LMP1 never gonna have a full class.

Or if we do keep the LMP1, maybe we can have some extra LMP2 entries if LMP1 isn't full?

  17. The "problem" with the Bykolles is that it's equipped with tyres that actually work like tyres on the thermal side and, as real tyres, you must do all the work around that.
This makes the things really nice, but it will require a bit of extra knowledge and/or testing. Still way better than having a set of slick tyres that gets better if you cool them down on the wet path during a race in mixed conditions.
About the chassis well it's not the best indeed, but as soon as you learn how to manage the roll centers is a good car. Just keep in mind it's a prototype, so maybe don't ride the curbs as you were in a carrera cup.....

Thats the issue, people want to drive Top Class but dont own the knowledge or the time to test this car or investing the time in setups

  19. Yeah, better to use GTE cars with marvelous Goodyear tyre model and pray to finish a full tank at sebring with 10% rubber remaining. Clearly drifting every corner, to try to not be 2sec off pace

  20. i can also agree to that. The issue with only 7 cars ion class would be also that the class could be quiet fast dead. let one or 2 teams can´t start a race and you would only have 5 cars in class. The class will be quiet boring to watch and also to race.

But we need a confirmation soon because the first race is not that fast ahead and if we get an update 1 week before the race (we know how the Studio is planning updates prior to p1 events^^) that makes the task for the teams even harder.
