Driving rules and code of behaviour
    • For LMP2 don't dive-bomb the GT3s into the corners. In the end, both of you lose less time when you overtake them on the exists
    • Respect the other cars/class on track
    Qualification
    • It’s not allowed to press ESC on track. It's only allowed to do in the pit lane. If you press ESC on track, you cannot leave the pits again.
    General Information
    • If you want to serve a time penalty during a pit stop the penalty needs to be selected in the pit window (see image below).

    Formationlap
    • You have to drive with caution on the formation lap. Excessive weaving and braking is not allowed.
    • On straights, there needs to be a constant speed of about 120 with a maximum speed of 130 from the starting group leaders. No excessive braking or accelerating is allowed.
    • Excessive gaps (max 5 vehicle length) in the field during the formation lap may be subject to a penalty.
    • If you spin on the formation lap you are allowed to catch up to the end of the current class grid.
    • As soon as double file is called from race control the leader is only allowed to drive maximum 120 and the rest of the field can close the formation. From then on also maximum 120 will apply (Everybody with a speed above 120 at race start will be considered to have a jump start).
    Race start
The formation lap will be in single file and there should be a gap between the last LMP2 and the first GT3 of ~5 seconds so we will have two starting groups. Between turn 16 and turn 18 there will be a command to go to the formation speed of 80. This means just go off throttle and let the car roll and don't brake. Once the leading car has reached 80 the rest of the group goes into double file and closes the formation. Once the starting group is in formation a maximum speed of 80 applies to all cars of this starting group. When entering the main straight race control will order the cars of the respective starting group into double file and the cars in the rear should close the formation. Then there will be a command to get ready (whisper in TeamSpeak) followed by the Green Green Green command (in game chat). Both starting groups will have a separate starting procedure.
    Pit entry
    Pit lane

    • Cars in pitlanes are collidable and no ghost cars. So be careful in the pitlane!
    Pit exit
    • At the pit exit stay right (driving direction) of the white line
    Orange zone
In the orange zones be careful with overtaking. More severe penalties will be applied here to the car at fault
    • There will be no orange zone in this race.
    Flag rules
If not otherwise described (e.g. blue flag in race) general racing flag rules apply. A description of the flag rules can be found here.
    Protests
    • See the link in the collection
    Communication
In case of a problem or questions, you can ask a steward in TeamSpeak. Stewards on duty will be in the stewards channel and will have the stewards user group on TeamSpeak.

I want to apologize for the from server start time. I changed them in one file but forgot to check the settings on server start.

Why now restart with the correct time?
    • As spectators on the server we could not see to current server time, only the race time remaining. Thus we had been only aware of the wrong setting as the race had already started.
    • The server would need to be restarted with the new race start time, this means several session switches and a manually set grid. Each session switch has the risk of someone dropping out (happened from qualifying to warmup for example). We had all cars in the race so what to do if this happens? Restart again or says shit happens and we keep running. How would you feel if this would have been you? This decision would have been bad as well. And there is also this risk of this happening again and again.
    • In the end, it was the same surprising situation for everybody.

In the future, we will try to improve the check of the server settings and also find a way to see server time as spectators.
