    Hi Bence,

A big sorry to you and your team.

After the dust settled I did have a look into the Replay of the incident in the morning and try to figure out why our incident happened.
I just braked next to where I did brake in the lap before.
I could try to blame the dirty air for not getting the car turning while following you.
But to be honest I did what you learn in the first Driving lesson. I drove where I was looking. I watched and was wondering for a moment why you did get of track. And before my concise noticed I subconsciously followed you of track. After I was of track too I just skidded into your back as I did not find the grip to avoid you.
Obviously a stupid thing to do but now it's too late.

    Again a big sorry.

We received a penalty for the incident.
I hope you accept the apology and with penalty we are even.

    Sorry and Regards

    Stephan

    Servus Stephan!

We were very upset yesterday, after the race. Obviously it was a very sh*t situation, as we were looking onto the replay again and again. To be honest, even if you get a penalty we don’t get back the ca. 3 minutes we lost with accident. But after all, its a game and everybody can make mistakes.

At least for the first time we had a good pace, we were in the top3 for the first time in P1LMS. We can build on that, stay motivated and come back stronger. :) Your apologize is of course accepted, thanks for your message. See you in Silverstone! :)

    Best regards,
    Bence

  3. We from Hansa had on of those day´s again aswell.
After a first few good stints, which placed us well within chance of the overall victory, i managed to spin out 2 times in ascari. Once damaging the car, and once well.. Having quite a rejoin. I took out gran Tuccini racing with that, and want to apologise for this judgment error. I had no visibility, and believed my delta which showed me a gap from over 3 seconds, which was appearently not enough to cross the track.
After the following plug pull, rejoin, misclick with set up, driving out with standart set, and a further plug pull & rejoin, we lost smth like 8 laps to our direct fight (wave) prio to that incident, and where back in p9 in class. It followed a heroic drive from jannik and Jp, gaining back a lap on the leaders and moving us up back into p4. Again a race of could have, would have, should have - but well, the pace and tire management where realy promising.
    On to the next one!

From #552 Simracing for Holland, apologies to #911 YourNameHere Racing for that hit into Parabolica early in the race. Due to some error my computer sent me back to the desktop with the game still running and there was no way to get back to the game. I didn't know what was happening at that time, neither did I know at first that the game was still running. I did still hear sounds and when I heard some impacts I had a feeling this wasn't going to be good. I killed the game, reconnected to the server, left the pits and saw your car parked in a pit box. Sorry to have taken you out in the aftermath

We discovered later this was due to a video driver error, so I'll make sure this doesn't happen again.

It was a big disappointment for us as well. We were in a good position before we lost several laps, including the one we had almost finished on track, while I was swearing and figuring out what to do. Looking at our race after this problem, a good result would have been possible for sure. Hopefully better luck next time :)

I would like to say sorry to the car #146. I think it was @Alexandre Le Bellour driving at that moment. I think it was at the end of the first half of the race and I totally missed my breakpoint for T1 and killed you. The only thing I could say aboaut my error it wasn't on purpose. Sorry again for that misstake.

    Grats to all winners! :)

For the #176 brown Aston Martin I must said, it was an bad race. Unlike in practice before the Quali, I could not confirm my laptimes in low 48er, because I had bad framedrops on the way to first and last chicane and had problems to find brake- and turningpoints. Fortunately I could avoid big accidents because of that. Until that moment, where on the Startline an car war parked in the first left startingslot . For sure I did not expect it, but as I saw it I first thought I was dreaming. As I realized that the car was really standing there, I would steer to the right but I thought I have to watch, if there is another car passing me. I was not in the modus this time to know it, because I was left and there were no need to have the traffic behind on my radar. So I saw, react, look into mirror, re-react and had my framedrops on the way to first chicane, so the really big crash was unavoidable for me :(. Good luck, that no other car was heavily involved in that crash!

I´m really confused with my System. I worked on high details on Circuit, Player, Opponent and Texture, but the rest on low. I never had this problems in trainingssessions, but I had it on Tuesday in our own testrace. After my first two stints I tried an offlinesession with every 50 cars AI. I did the start in the middle of the field and drove some laps without any framedrop, everything runs really smooth. For my third stint I set everything on low, but I had the same problems at the same points as on high settings o_O. I´m really wondering, why I could drove an Nords-Race one week before with the same settings without any problems??? I have had similar problems on Brands Hatch weeks before and someone told me to set my settings higher and it has really worked on Nords and Estoril. But why not on Monza?

I´m not whining, but I´m in hope that someone maybe had same experiences and could explain me, why it sometimes works fine with high settings, but did not on other tracks with low settings. Why it works not on the Server, but did very well with same settings and circumstances offline?
Well, I´m not really good in this technical things. For me it´s, if I had bad performance I reduce the settings and get better performance. But if this will not work, I don´t know what could the reason for that behavior. I think things like background programs would not be the reason, because I could not imagine that it will be affect only at the same points. For me the reason is somewhere, that something at this track sections take effect on my hardware and makes frame drops. But why, if I reduce details or set them to high or even to maximum? Yes, I could drive offline with 52KI with maximum settings, I could see flying birds in the air of Monza :D. So I think the question for my GPU isn´t relevant, because it shows to what it is be able to display. But I worked with an MSI GTX 1070ti and an I7 8700k and 32GB. There should be no limitation this time. And for me the Nordschleife is the benchmark with all his trackdetails and the size of the track. If it works here fine, I expect It do everywhere else!?

Not to forget to praise the work of the stewards and the commentators! ;)

strange. I'm running a GTX1080ti with an i7 7800k and 32gb on the Stream PC and have everything set to max. Maybe we should compare our systems on a free day in peace whether we find inconsistencies.

    Hey,

i dont know if I missed it or you really didn’t said anything about it. If we need to share some pitboxes it would be great if we get a hint about it. The first stop together with simmsa was a damage at our car and a DT for simmsa which could be avoided.

@LMP1-Driver: Pls. train on the server while there are GTEs and LMP2s.
The speed-difference is brutal. In some sections it´s even more dangerous than in Estoril and Monza.

How is the general feeling about track cuts?
In some places they feel completely stupid (for example exit of luffield, you touch the grass behind the astroturf, you lose time and get a cut), and in some places I lift and lose 1s when I go off track (copse, chapel), but still get a cut.

I have a feeling that there will be many DTs due to unreasonable cuts.

My feeling is, it is like it is. It´s the same for everyone and everyone could avoid it. I think there is over all no chance for P1 to change something at the track and the stewards would not watch every report and request to cancel the penalty.
We did it two or three times on Silverstone in the LMS and i could not recognize major problems with countless penalties.

It's in every driver's responsibility to know the track-limits from practice. And as Rene said, same for everyone. If the limit was a wall it would hurt a lot more ;)

Well if there was a wall, I would approach the corner differently ;) But I get your point.
I just wanted to get a general feeling of how other drivers feel about it, I know that nothing can be really changed.
As the saying goes: The race is long.

  18. Hi there, are you sure about the weather station for this race? At the moment shows 22'C with no rain while at the track it's 19'C with rain.

Unfortunatly #240 Rennsimulaten III will not be able to start at this race.
But we will be back in the starting grid for the next one.

Just checked it and the coordinates are fine. Also there cant be rain when it's disabled. This is why there is a server.
