I was ahead of the car that's how overtaking works. if you see a car ahead and alongside do you turn in or do you wait? this is not a penalty in any zone. some guy got a 30s penalty for basically ending my race so this is not just stewarding.

At the turn in point of that corner you were at most halfly alongside. And there is no need for discussion. you should not overtake there if the other car does not clearly lets you pass. That's what the rule says and that's what got enforced.

It is the responsibility of faster class driver to make a clean pass, but it is also of the responsibility of slower classes to check their mirrors. he should have seen me and not hit me. if you think this is 100% my fault then I can't help you regardless of your so called red zone.

This was my early penalty (first lap) :(
The guy in front of me had over 150 ping at the start, and I was penalised because of knocking him out, while - as you can see in the video - I wasn't even close to him...

Thanks at P1 Gaming for the great event and really good stream this time (the best sofar imo)

Is it possible to have more lighting on the livery for next race, just for us? I mean it is difficult to top the livery we had (#88)

As said in TS, I really hope stability gets improved and there is no reason the computer shouldn't be able to handle 100 cars.
Other games like "Holdfast: Nations At War" can do it aswell (FPS with 100+ people per server).
But I prefer them first stabilize the game before attempting to implement / upgrade such things, I heard of several driver swap failures.

    ___________
Absolutely agree, Lopez you are a really dangerous driver. If it would be my decision, you would have been excluded from the race (that I would also say about my performance on Spa last year btw.).

  6. Yeah, last hour I had 2 incidents which were my fault. Other incidents weren't my fault and still 1:16,8 in race having a BMW is not a time to be in last positions. Didn't enjoy to get +1 lap penalties because of "UnSafe Driving" without hitting anyone. I agree with the penalties if they are because crashed someone or I failed, but not because "UnSafe Driving", so I want to give you the penalty just because you are risking. When I was driving a Touring... sorry but I didn't do anything and my 2 hours stint was sent to the shit when in the same lap I get a drive through and a porsche crash me. Its curious to see that the drive through was because of "UnSafe Driving" while the Porsche didn't get any penalty and he did a real crash turning into my racing line. Well... seeing 1 or 2 crashed cars every lap with no penalties and it looks like Advanced SimRacers is not liked by some people. Finally, these things doesn't change the fact that an update came today and made the Porsche 1 second faster and Camaro 2 seconds faster and the BoP penalties for BMW, etc...

As I already said, I hope you enjoyed the race, I didn't. See ya and lets see if we race or not in next event. It will be a personal decission which is not related to anyone, just to us as a wec team.

Thanks a lot for organizing this race, that was mostly great fun and I really enjoyed it! Not perfect of course, that was messy at time. I also did some mistakes, I hope I did not bother anyone. But with 50 cars on track, and 2 classes it almost seems normal to have some hairy moment... That is part of the excitement too! I'm quite proud with the results from my team, we enjoyed a nice moment; that's what I will remember! :)

Great first endurance event for me! few mistakes during quali and race start but nothing i cant learn from. A few things i would like to see improved:

    • Qualifying instructions given in advance of event - maybe given to team manager in email.
    • P1 official live stream Broadcast in English so easy for everyone to follow(German community i know but Race control instructions in English).
Other than that, fantastic event shame about the final driver swap issue but thanks @Ricardo Edelmann for the support!

    see you again!

Great event, great and fair live stewards.

Some of the GT3 guys should race in TCR. Its not about the skill or speed, but behaviour on track. Some pepole also think as they have Ferrari (that was CLEAR the fastest on straights) think they can igonore this way blue-flags.

Sad that Camaro had problems , it would be nice to have a "threeway" for TOP3 positions :)

For sure we will attend the next event with P1

    For improvment:
    1) Create "live" interval table next to positions on the MAIN screen, that pepole will se realtime advantage of one car over another.
    2) When You give penalty, You can make some kind of 'pop-up' window on the tv coverage , like in real F1 , that says "Car #XXX drive-through penalty - dangerous driving" etc.

First of all think about one thing. "I get many penalties in a race and many people don't like driving with me or point out I'm overagressive and an unsafe driver. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?"

You are a fast driver, no doubt about it, but just being fast doesn't mean you get to have a good position in a race (All 3 drivers in the #777 Team were faster than me on paper and the actual race and still we won with me doing most of the race, but apparently that's not ok and shouldn't happen using your logic). You constantly bitch and whine about a BoP even after admins said they will look at it after the race and wonder why people get annoyed by it, you are THE most unsafe driver of the whole field leading to sticky situations and potentially crashes which set you back in a race and then moan about getting penalties?

Every single time I saw you in my relative standings I sighed and tried to somehow survive the encounter with you pushing into gaps where there were none. You were the only driver today where I actively supported the pass with my lines because I was too scared of you crashing me out.

Oh and considering the penalty you got while driving the TRG. I was beside you when you unlapped yourself from me slamming into the back of a Porsche in front of the chicane and sending him off. Do you really think you shouldn't get penalised for that?

Anyway getting away from the negative stuff. It was an amazing and challenging race. Huge thanks to the organizers and the strict stewards. I'm still baffled at the thought that we were able to take the win in the TRG class with such strong opponents and I'd like to thank most of the GT's for their safe passes and their considerations when lapping us.

We'll be sure to sign up for the next race as soon as we can and hope to defend the win we got with an even better livery than this race :)

  17. It wasn't just me. My team mates had some penalties too by the face. For example, there was a situation when a Ferrari clearly crashed my team mate 3 times in 3 different laps on purpose, I reported it and he got a stop and go but... My team mate got a stop and go too!!! WTF? He didn't do anything, he was fair and he didn't hit the other car. Another team mate in car 18 got some penalties too by the face. All of them with the excuse of "unsafe driving", WTF? He was doing a live stream and I was watching him and he didn't hit anyone and he didn't do anything unfair. The same goes for car 14, another team mate got 2 or 3 penalties because of "unsafe driving" excuse. 4 Different drivers eh in 3 different cars had penalties by unsafe driving... Really? I know I can do little close to crash movements sometimes but I am 100% sure they don't and they didn't because I was watching them. Honestly, from a personal view It looks like the organization doesn't like us and is wanting to make our lifes harder by changing the physics of the cars we use, giving us non sense penalties, etc...

Am I wrong? Maybe. But if it is the case I would like the organization to directly say that they don't like us because we are taking this serious and we don't feel good competing where people doesn't like us because it is a waste of time.

Organization, your answer is that you don't have any problems with us? Ok, then we will prepare some events during this year to be raced here but please say the true because we don't want to train 1000 laps and then having a bad experience.

Well I wasn't watching the stream nor your teammates, but all I can say is that the penalties you got were deserved. Even if it was the case that you got harsher penalties than everyone else I personally would punish drivers like you extra strongly to force you to drive more careful and with more respect for other drivers.

What I don't understand is why you even drive with such risk. This is a fun event with drivers who are new to simracing up to veterans. There's nothing to gain other than a good time and bragging rights. You can't expect everyone to be on your level which in the end will result in crashes with your behaviour on track because those 100% situations don't exist in these circumstances. Ofc you wanna win but this isn't a sprint race. In endurance racing the most important aspect is to keep running which isn't the case when you get damage or a penalty. And don't even get me started on how self-centered you have to be that you really think the BoP was aimed at you.

Absolutely confirmed with Micheal! You didn´t win as the fastest driver. I´m convinced, Adam didn´t win because he and his mate has been the fastest. They had the same traffic and similar situations like all others cars on track, like Adam show´n in his video. Methew didn´t well, Adam did. He anticipate in this situation (and maybe had the portion of luck) and i´m sure he anticipates lot of many others situations in the race, so it seems like they didn´t have some major issues and especially, had the necessary less, than our Porsche #911 with lag-crash and cutting-penalty. All discussions about BOP could be into the ton, at the end you win with best experience, coolness, cleverness and anticipation.
You can be fast as you want, when the brain is not as far. Or with other words: don´t drive faster as you can think!

I dont know where you get the camaro time from, considering I only did representetive practice yesterday on a rubbered track. In fact the Camaro is not fast enough for pole, but I got lucky with a toe at the backstraight giving me alot of time (my fastest time without the toe was something like 16.1). Now maybe instead of looking at others, look at yourself. The Camaro didnt get updated, maybe it was the driver whom was doing a decent job? Now I dont like to talk myself up, but I was really trying to drive the wheels off that car, it was tough. The Z4 is a very fast car, so get off the conspirancy theories. Now back to the positive vibes :)

Pole position, what a luck I caught a car to give me a real nice toe at the backstraight. My first ever pole in rF2, I was waiting for that for a while! And so close with my mate Shawn, it was tense! The start was a bit odd to be honest... I started on the outside with P2 right next to my rear bumper and obviously lost pole. I think this needs some rework. To add salt to the wounds I got pushed offtrack, but all good, its a 6-hour long race. Slowly but surely climbed my way back up, and finally back up in the lead. Now there didnt happen much, just steadily in the lead and then it was time for a driverswap... the devil. I was hoping to finally win my first race in rF2 after being crashed out in VEC when in the lead, but the game thought otherwise, again... Greg got into the car, it showed his name on the livetiming and stream, but he wasnt moving on my screen. Turned out, I also had controll over the car??? (Greg was on track, I was not moving cuz i thought i didnt had controll, but i didnt see him drive away or anything o_O) Not sure what was going on there, so I restarted my pc and eventually after we discovered Greg wasnt getting recognized he rejoined, getting "pending open session". Now I tried to join, and got the same message. Race over, my first ever retirement in simracing ever :( Then decided to chill a bit, watch the stream. And all of the sudden I see our Camaro doing laps? o_O Turns out it was AI, but that was a good laugh!

I want to take a moment and thank racecontrol, the race was much better with live stewarding. The races have really progressed! :) Now lets hope some drivers do the same, so theres not a crash in every sector in every single lap. I like that the grid has grown massively compared to when I started here, but unfortunately the driving standards have gone backwards massively thanks to it :( Maybe a academy you have to pass first is not a bad thing? :)

Want to congratulate the winners of their respective class, and nice to see a other can than the Ferrari winning the race :) Unfortunately it wasnt a chevy ahah.

See you at the next track!
