sls is right now more then 1,5 second slower with the same amount of fuel ...
I dont know if you add like +200 horse power it will still be not enough ...

Gave it a go this afternoon, it's definitely a dog on default setup but once I got a setup I was happy with I actually quite like it. I think with a bit more time I could get within 0.5 of my Ferrari time and since the Ferrari and BMW are going to be bop'd I'd say overall it's not a bad car.

Of course Your times with Ferrari and Mercedes are on Q runs ? right ?

  4. Well... it looks like its starting again to talk about increasing or decreasing powers, times, etc...

Its easy guys, don't change anything. Let the people choose the car they want and don't modify their physics. If they choose a slower car its their problem. For the next race, before opening the entrylist, check the things you think should be modified and then you update the physics before opening the entrylist.

I think thats the way the things should be done. Its just my opinion.

Like this we will have BMW Cup ... without presents of any Corvette, SLS or Camaro.

If the other cars that are currently 'not in use' would have some extra feachers - that would be ok. For example:
    - bigger tank
    - much more power then others with a big weight
So here on short track that car will be in disadvantage , but on longer 'power track' it will show its strenghts. But its not.

I think that that ONLY bigger tank (130 liters ?) would be enough to consider any of those cars

Since it's not mandatory to use every available car, you can't just assume that some cars are bad. Maybe just noone likes them or their driving characteristics on a given track. Please don't make everyone have to re-check every car for every race because they might have been changed.

  7. Good evening I wanted info for the endurance
    - of the relative team all the riders are qualified or only one
-if you can press esc and then re-enter the track
    - if you use an anticheat

Not sure if I just missed it in the rules but what's the start procedure?

The normal Proceedure would be formation Lap + rolling Start. Starting with single file and going double file roughly around entry into 3rd Sector, but, that is adjusted from track to track and detailed in the Briefing before Race.

Poke to the Org: I have looked it up, someone missed to write it down.

When (if any) update on BoP will be up and running ?

    Edit:
As I was on server today I saw that manny of drivers are taking advantage and going wide very soon over the "pit lane OUT road" to straight up for Turn2.
That should be strictly forbiden cause:
    a) with such amount of cars and BLIND exit from pit lane, there can easy be a crash that is avoidable by sanction over that manouvers
    b) it is cutting -> taking advantage of part of race track that YOU are not allowed to use.
Only cars that are going out from pit lane can be there. Not the cars that are no count lap

Okay guys, to make a few things clear.

"cutzones, redzones, starting procedures etc" will be explained in a conversation with ALL team managers as always. This conversation will be started in the next few days.

We (P1-Gaming e.V.) are thinking about opening a second server. That is, if more teams sign up for the wait list. We would like to have at least 30 cars on both grids.

The BOP is currently under development with several testers and should be ready in a few days. It will not change the way the cars behave on track. It will just close the gap between the slowest and the fastest car a bit as well as even up fuel tank sizes etc. Eventhough raw speed is, if at all, only important for qualifying, since no one will be able to set absolute best times in the race with that many cars on track. Please do not forget that. Nobody has an advantage in the race if their car is 0.5 seconds faster in qualifying trim or even in race pace on an empty track.

There will be NO restriction to cockpit view only. And sorry but my opinion: Saying something is not real because of this or it is like nfs is total bullshit. There are people who built whole cockpits in their home and want to drive hoodcam or anything else to their liking. If they wish to do so, we won't get in their way of doing so. Everyone has their own preferences and that is totally fine.

    And at last:

Yes, with 50 cars on this track everything is a bit narrow BUT look at IMSA for example their races on road atlanta had more than 50 cars on this track an everything worked out. If everyone is acting after the rules, nothing special should happen.

So, just stay tuned for further information in the next few days.

    Cheers and happy new year

    Ricardo

    @Ricardo Edelmann
    about cockpit view.
You are wrong. The view should be cockpit view only. Why ?
Simple as that - that is where driver is sitting. In real car or simrace car. That is why the "width" of the car and your position on the track compare to other drivers should be base on cockpit view and COCKPIT VIEW only. You can set closer or far away the FOV , but sitting on the roof or on the bumper gives you advantage of getting the best line , cause you are in "center" of the car.
Simracing is no "real" - of course. But we can make it AS REAL AS IT GETS, and forced camera view is one of the most important issiues.

If You dont race from inside of the car, You are one of those guys:
    'dont be that guy' ;)

    :D :D :D

But will the RF2 structrue lift those 50 cars and then spectators that will come in to change their drivers ... that is the question.

Sorry but i absolutely do not share your opinion. I know people who do use nosecam for example because they have a whole cockpit they sit in. They are not centered in front of the screen as well. So that is just not correct. And if you think drivers using this view are having an advantage, use it yourself. There will be no change in that certain option. Everyone is allowed to use a view they like.

Rf2 structure should work out since it worked earlier as well but to get that clear we are in contact with s397 to get confirmation.
