Some updates form tonight with the new build: I suddenly lost the headlight while driving in the darkness. The Message center said "Headlight on and off" but but there was no light. There where some other drivers reporting the same in the chat. Maybe there is something to see in the server logs.

 

Hey, since the update I got this morning of the track and version 8 of the rfm I can't see many cars in the list, including both Team WAT. Trace is complaining about missing veh files in the rfcmp. Is anyone else experiencing this or is my install broken?

 

I see there are a lot less Porsche Cup cars in the server than in the entrylist (i.e. there is no #555). is there some issues?

 

I unsubscribed to the mod, deleted the 1.40P1_40 folder manually, subbed back and many cars are still missing. I peeked inside porsche_cup_gt3_2018_teams.mas for 1.40P1_40 and I am not seeing all the veh files the game is complaining about either.

 

Can confirm this too, did the same.

I think they have some work because the issue what the guys had befor.

 

Got the patch and the cars are back, thanks for the fix!

That was a fun race if not as good as we'd have expected in the WAT cars, encountered a bit too much trouble (and those pesky walls). Still thanks to orga for putting it up, thanks to everyone else who showed up, and already looking forward to next year!

Congrats to the podiums and thanks to the staff for the race! We had a pretty solitary race in P4 but i think i had the riskiest code brown of the race (https://streamable.com/bke9gx). Looking forward for next year!

 

Were the servers checked for spectators illegally staying on the server to stream the teammates race? In the last 3rd of the race we counted couple of drivers just on twitch streaming full stints of their teammates. By the rules this is forbidden. I hate the rule, because I would also love to have content for viewers when im not driving, but that are the rules and we comply. So why does it still happen and why is there a rule for it when its not being checked?

 

Hello, we should look at the option that we can transmit the people who do direct, even if it is 1 or 2 per car or with prior notice or even paying an extra €10 who wants to do direct from the race.

To give an example, in the VEC it was not allowed either and this year they do leave notice prior to the start of the season.

The direct ones give the organization a lot of viewing, we had peaks of 600 spectators watching the race during 24 hours, do you really want to miss that opportunity? I do not think so. People discovering what P1 gaming is and many more things about this beautiful competition.

Please, value the power to let retransmit direct, with prior notice of which car is going to retransmit.

From the SRP team next season one of the cars will be one of the best strimmers in the country in this world of simracing, it can give thousands of views to the Championship, it would be a shame if they couldn't do their job and everything would be forgotten.

I don't think the 50 cars want to do direct. Some solution would have to be found, more slots, more sites on the server, I don't know, something, it would be very disappointing to lose opportunities for people to see it and publicity and interest in the Championship.

please try to find some option/solution that if you have to be able to. I repeat, I don't think everyone wants to go live.
