  1. Hallo zusammen,
    vielen Dank für dieses super Rennen, was wir zusammen auf Suzuka hatten. Überraschenderweise hat der Traffic zwischen den Klassen, bis auf ein paar Ausnahmen sehr gut geklappt. Lob geht da natürlich an ALLE Fahrer in jeder Klasse raus.
    Was auch meiner Meinung nach speziell auf dieser Strecke ein riesiger Vorteil war, ist dass die Off-Tracks so gut wie gar nicht gewertet wurden. Weshalb jeder immer bei einer engen Situation auf die Seite fahren konnte, ohne einen Off-Track und anschließend, wenn es dumm läuft eine DT-Penalty bekommt. Mein persönlicher Wunsch währe es deshalb, dass wir evtl. falls es möglich ist weiterhin ohne Off-Track Penaltys fahren. Um das Cutten zu vermeiden, könnten ja an markanten Stellen Saussage Curbs (falls es möglich ist) platziert werden. Alternativ könnte man das einreichen von Track Limits auch in den Aufgabenbereich der Teams geben, dass aufgefallene Track Limit Verstöße von den Teams eingereicht werden und von den Stewards dann ggf. bestraft werden (gerne auch nach dem Rennen mit Zeitstrafen).
    Ohne diese Cut Warnings (Spielseite) ist die Hemmschwelle nicht so groß einfach mal kurz ein wenig auf die Seite zu fahren, um genügend Platz zu lassen.

    Wie gesagt noch einmal vielen vielen Dank für die Orga und das tolle Rennen an alle Teams/Organisatoren. Ich freue mich auf das nächste Rennen auf Sepang.

Just a small review from last week's race: we #74 RevolutionSimRacing had a very decent race. @Paul Benoist did a very solid quali and was able to keep up racing in P4/P5. @Philip Bachmann kept our position as well until I took over for the last two hours. During my first stint I couldn't deselect our tires as we were double stinting the mediums throughout the race. It ended up me having to take tires at my last pitstop, costing us 30+ seconds. In my final stint I had an amazing fight with @Nic da Silva . At times I could keep the gap or extend it using traffic, but at times I also lost quite some time due to traffic. But in the end our fight resulted in me running a bit wide in spoon in the penultimate lap. @Nic da Silva grabbed his chance and overtook me on the inside. Sorry for the touch as I didn't see you that well, but we could both continue and we finished P5 in the end. After the race I checked my buttons settings again and found out my + and - selection buttons were actually set on the right hand side of my steering wheel :rolleyes:. So yeah, I cost our team a P4 finish and still feel stupid about that! Thanx for the awesome fight @Nic da Silva and congrats with P4.

    And again sorry @Paul Benoist and @Philip Bachmann for the error that cost us P4! I hope we can grab that position next race!

    Das Update Skript lief auf einen Fehler. Der ist jetzt gefixt und wäre spätestens nach dem nächsten Rennen eh aufgefallen ;)

    Unfortunately we have to whitdraw the #32 vMADS HC from the race.

    Due to missing drivers the #98 LMP2 will not attend in this race.

    unfortunately we had to leave due to a crash in the glasses of a colleague, we do not know if we caused an incident and if so we apologize to those involved

    I just want to thanks all drivers and the organizers for this race, I loved this track, the podium was so close at the end, I think we should had to take more risk with strategy to keep the P3 on the end, but it was very fun, I took a lot of pleasure during this race ! See you on Road Am soon !

    Hi all,

    Thank you to all the participants for this race which was quite painful for us on LMP2 # 87.

    By this post I would like to get help if possible from those of you who have the technical knowledge to help us understand our mistake, let me explain:

    Our car was set up very, very smooth for this bumpy circuit but we quickly noticed a glaring difference from the start of the race: the acceleration of our vehicle was well below all the other LMP2s.

    What do you think could be the cause of this ??

    Nope,
    but thank you anyway
    the engine mixture was in race all the time and even in qualify that not changed anything,
    Not knowing its usefulness very well and seeing it set to a minimum on a lot of setups I put the 3rd spring setting very low, I just know that this setting influences the stability of the body at high aero load.
    This is one of my points of doubt ....

    sometimes in rfactor2 it has happened to me that my car ran less than the others, being the same with the same setup

    it may be that and it is a bug of rfactor2

    Or the throttle was not recognizing 100% and was instead only on something like 99 or 98%. This could be visible in the replay.

    Thank you for your answers guys.
    Concerning the brake pedal i tought about it and checked imediately at the end of my first stint, it was not that...
    Me and my teammate were both affected by this problem, that's why i lean more for a setup problem or a bug as mentioned Jorge.

    The Ligier has clutching out on every shifting up and down. That means we have slower car. Oreca hasnt got that issue. Orecas were around 1 sec faster in my hand on Sepang than Ligier. Thats a shame :(

    Yes @Jens Kaes we noticed you were struggling more than usual on this round and we thought it was the worst track / car combination.
    @Csaba Kiss yes indeed a second difference ..... that plus the time difference at pitstops is really shameful on the part of studio 397 as if it was difficult to balance a BOP between only 2 vehicles
