Quick question for all GTE drivers, especially the people in a Ferrari:
I was having very weird FFB when on a damp/slightly wet track with dry tyres. Hard to describe, but the force was feeling very clunky in corners. Wet tyres/wet track and dry tyres/dry track were fine as always.

Seemed to be the combination of slicks and dampness causing the disturbance, with more dampness making it feel worse. Wasn't undrivable, but definitely lost quite a bit of feeling for the car.

Was a good but exhausting race so far, good luck to everyone for the last 35 minutes.

 

I had the same, no precision on the wheel. It seemed like it was moving alone sometimes. The track was obviously bugged.

 

same for me, even worse...undrivable. but it looks like it's not for everyone, as my teammate had no issues.

no comment on the race...hard to stay motivated

Than it´s probably really the track, that has a bug.

Kamal, as I already told you, those in front braked too much, Kristian saw him brake and moved to one side.
There is no need for that comment here trying to blame Kristian for your accident.

 

Strangely I only had the FFB issues with slick tires on wet track in the Caroussel and final 2 corners, all other corners were fine.
For me it was confusing that the slick tire had the same pace as wet on a very wet track with no dry line, but with much longer life time.
But on a drying track with slick tire it was very fun to drive.

 

Will package LeMans be available @ Monza?

 

I would have to ask for a favour regarding the briefing - could we maybe also include the 2 escape routes from the first two chicanes, and where/how to navigate them safely? Because well, we have them, and they work, so i think that they should be covered/used by the stewards and us. Last time around it happend a few times that some car´s locked up into the first corner, ore braked to late and just straightlined it through the styropor walls. Which only clatters the racing line and gives those who abuse this an unfair advantage.

 

We have to daw back the 46 LMP1 for the Monza race. Was not an easy decision, but personal reasons result in to less drivers and not enough preparation-time to navigate the car safe through the traffic. It´s to dangerous to drive this car with not enough training and we don´t want to ruin someones race just because we had not enough training.
