Hi, when we choose the car if we click on "customize" we can see three choices of pack, the "Supercup", the "Endurance (soft springs)" and the "Endurance (hard springs").
Do we have to take one of these packs in particular, if so which one? Or is the choice of the pack free?

I hate to be 'that guy', but could we get a clarification on how exactly track limits will be handled here? Obviously, the cut detection on this track is incredibly liberal.

First of all, the tires are not allowed to get behind the curbs. A briefing document will be added in the next few days.

I need some clarification regarding the track limits in qualifying.

I understand cutting in your fastest or second fastest lap will get you +5 places in the respective race result.

In corners 1, 3, 9, 10 the track limit is defined as by the pictures posted in the briefing post.

What I'm not sure about are the other corners. As I understood in the verbal briefing before quali, the general rule is "white line = track limit" and the above mentioned corners are exceptions.

To cut it short, here is a example (could have taken any car): Is this offtrack or ontrack?

    upload_2021-8-21_21-30-22.png

The most difference to the lap time is done out of the two left handers in the middle of the track. (T5 & T6?)

I think, I am not the only one, not sure about this. Mathias Ronzani for example stayed inside the limits and was obviously trying to do this in every corner. Other drivers on the other hand ran until the gravel even in situations were it could have been avoided quite easily.

Other than that great tight racing. I had a few tough but fair fights. Always the Black Hawks. Was fun.:)

    Hi Sebastian!

As said in the verbal briefing the only exceptions to the track limits were Turn 1,3,9 and 10. So according to our rulebook (Rule 7.3.1: White (or other color) lines at the edge of the track surface define the racing surface (which includes the lines themselves). If a track or a section of a track has no border lines, the edge of the asphalt is the boundary of the racing surface. ) this would be an off track. The 2 fastest qualifying laps will be checked automatically by the stewards and 5 position penalties will be applied to drivers with a cut. Please be aware that the replay provided by the server might show slightly different car positions than your own recorded replay.

    Cheers
    Ricardo
