Looks like this is a double entry, is it possible that I can sign up an additional GTE car for RevolutionSimRacing? Would be following:

    Teamname: RevolutionSimRacing #114 | Porsche 991RSR

    Team Manager: Manuel Duerr
    Driver #1: Simon Scott (British)
    Driver #2: James Lyke (British)
    Driver #3: TBA (British)

There are anyway too many Rennsimulanten cars if you are asking me, seems like someone did not read the rules exactly ;)

    Thanks and regards!

  2. I would like to set Hansa racing#69 as an reserve for the lmp2 group.

    Teamname: Hansa Racing #69 | Oreca 07

    Team Manager: Ricardo Böckmann
    Driver #1: Ricardo Böckmann (German)
    Driver #2: Fabian Walter(Germann)
    Driver #3: Justin Habermacher (Switz)
    Driver #4: Maximilan Barkley ( USA )

  3. These Teams are no double post. That are valid entries and drivers will be further edited as soon as the teammanger can do changes.

    Greetings.

  4. No Problem, as a penalty they have to take a P3 instead now I would say^^.

so the rule 4 cars per manager/team (1x lmp2, 1x lmp3 and 2x gte) does not apply to Rennsimulanten?

RevolutionSimRacing was told that our team can have a maximum of 4 cars under our name. And we should not try to sign up members from us under a different name.

I am counting 8x Rennsimulanten in the GTE class, that's a third of the whole GTE grid.

    Doesnt look fair to me.

Don't wanna throw someone under the bus, but it seems a bit rough to me that one community gets restricted and others aren't :/

Would it reassure you if the same drivers would drive under different team names?

    Ofc not^^

As Manuel already said they got restricted specifically to also not field teams under another name to leave space for others so it just seems odd that others weren't.

Here is our situation. Someone went through our forums and saw our preparation thread for the 12H of Sebring (if you are interested: https://revolutionsimracing.com/thr...eptember-2018-11am-utc-p1-simracing-net.1525/)

    We wanted to enter 3xLMP2 - 1xLMP3 - 2xGTE

Someone "told us off" and I was approached by an admin of P1 that we can't have that many cars. 4 cars per team are allowed (1x LMP2 / 1x LMP3 / 2x GTE). This is a test and P1 wants to have more variety in teams. Alright, we restructured to fit the requirements.

    1x LMP2 / 1x LMP2 / 2x GTE

@Michael Roellin is a member of RSR but he is driving solo since he started at P1, therefore, we are not counting him into the RSR calculation.

We couldn't sign up 3x LMP2 cars (@Michael Roellin included) because RSR would represent then 1/4 of the LMP2 Grid. But Rennsimulanten can represent 1/3 of the GTE grid?

Not very amused about that and I want some clarification in this regard.

    Hi,

please can you quote, where you find this passage? In the official thread is written, that every driver can sign up two cars, but we could entry the same teammanager! No one are able to sign up three cars! In the "rules" of "24h Series Info" are no other infos, so for my opinion we are doing right!

I did understand your position, but we participate every single event since 2014 with multiple cars, even as we had an grid with 20 cars and less! We has had filled the grid on some events, otherwise P1 had to decide not to start the event with maybe 12 cars. On Nords in November i would predict, that we are one good reason, why we are nearly 50 cars and most of us all are very pleased...
If you want so, or P1 decide it, we are able next race to sign up same cars, same people with different teamnames. It´s not what we want, because WE ARE ONE TEAM, but i don´t see any violation on our side!

I was approached by a P1-Administrator in private. I followed the instructions because I do understand the point. More variety is always nice, and for example, now, we couldn't even sign up for our 2nd GTE car because Rennsimulanten is reserving 1/3 of the grid.

That would have been the first race for me and my Teammate but with Rennsimulanten covering a third of the grid there is maybe no chance for us to race...I dont think thats fair.

  14. No one is blocking anything. We allways bring all the signed in cars to the startline and we are giving everthing to drive all cars to the finish line, no matter what position. We followed the official rules for the series and signed up our teams as everybody else. There is no advantage for us in any point. So i dont see the Problem.

But if there are so many poeple interessted in GTE, maybe P1 should think about converting LMP3 gridspots into GTE.

I´ve talked to an Admin last ADAC-GT-M on Nürburgring and did not received any restriction, -for now! As i said, i can understand your position, but we did not see any violation against the written rules. And again, if we would have used other names, your second car would not have an spot in grid, because we would have sign up as fast as we did anyway. Everybody only want to drive this event. And we bring up our cars as we did. Did we not had enough people to sign up at highnoon, we had to agree, not to sign up all our cars.

As I said already, just "hiding" ur drivers with a different name doesn't change anything. I will wait until I hear something from the P1-Staff. If this all stays like it is right now, we (RevolutionSimRacing) consider to drop out of this event because it seems like different teams having different rules, something I really can't stand.
