For me personally it´s an really good idea and maybe we as community could discuss and would persuade P1, to set 12h Le Mans as the September event or did it into the voting for this...

 

Is there a chance to have the endurance mod 2.0 for a le man's event?

 

As much as I love Le Mans Simon is right about the change in cars imo (which I wouldn't mind for this round). I can't really imagine driving there with a Touring because it's just too slow for usual fast pace of the track^^

 

You would be in the limiter half the time ... and probably at the end of the race 10+kph down xD

 

There is no question about changing the Touring with the LMP class, that implied LeMans his self. But because we has driven similar races in this config, i did not see the problem. We even had an balanced grid with that and i think there were even people who loves to drive LMP, as other did Tourers, so i did not see an problem to change classes dependent from the selected track.
And if you drive GT on LeMans you feel as slowly, as you are driving Tourer on other tracks . Just remember: we has driven LMP + GT in Interlagos, and Interlagos could be choosen for next event. But this time no one has clarified, that we will drive in GT+Tourer, in contrast to last year!
We should discuss outcome-open...

 

I think it would be nice if the GT was the fastest vehicle in Le Mans ... besides, it would only take 12 hours ... Why not swim against the tide !?

 

Single GT class at Le Mans would be attractive too imo. 50-car field, all in same class would be a good fight.

 

I´m now re-watching the stream an want to say some words. Only can comment the German stream and commentators has been done really good! Unfortunately replays didn´t work as well, not even the big crash at early race between Corvette and Camaro. And, as others said in chat, drivers names were missed, but further races team names missing. But in further races we has seen drivers names on the left plus in running line on top of picture. This has missed completely! Why not display the team name on the left, and drivers names on the top?
Unhappily it seems to me, that there we not as much stream viewers life with us. But myself missed it because of many trouble with hardware days before race, to advertise the race and the stream in our community. We will do it better next race...

 

Not that you can avoid clashes but I know a lot of us are already signed up to an endurance race on the 14th of july, could this be pushed back to the 28th? (Probably clashes with something else lol)
