Hi there, as Istanbul is a pretty big place if you might find doubts/issues with the meteo station this city is really close to the circuit and can be a good reference:

Usually i'm not the type of guy who complains about something but...

Can you please take a look on the track limits. This is just ridiculous. you can run wide everywhere and cut the shit out of this track. It will look really bad in the stream and racing will be that bad, because you don't get any warning anyways. The only cut warning which is fine is turn 1. the rest please take a look...

Secondly the RealRoad from the Istanbul Server is completely broken and doesn't load at all. At least from my point of view. Offline everything is fine with the default presets.

To be completely honest we don't find this track change such a "clean" move.
First, going wide doesn't give a true advantage because of the grip level changing. I tested a lot with both LMP1 and LMP2 and the best times were coming when driving completely or almost completely on the tarmac (yes, I'm 100% serious about it), in any case without overdoing it with 4 wheels off. Maybe with GT cars can be helpful, that might be, yes. And yes we agree it might look bad on the stream.
But what about teams (like us) that did a lot of testing already? Or what about teams/drivers that might not have time to get into traning next week? With 1 month between one race and the next one is that "fair" to change the track that close to the race?
Let me underline that it's not our intention to argue/debate/moan about an eventual change, we just want to share a different point of view regarding the circuit. We will clearly accept ANY decision without spending a single more word on it and will enjoy the race as always here.

A note about realroad: none of us experienced a single issue in the loading, both online or offline, and that's just for an extra feedback. File being used was saved when on server of course. Weird stuff

sadly we are in a little bit of a bad situation for the race. We have drivers with other obligations on this day, so we have issues filling our seats.

At the moment you can´t see the Real Road. It looks like, that it does not load. We were with 4 cars on the server. It was the same for everyone.

 

Ahh sry. Thought that the actual track on the server is the new version.^^

 

Unfortunately car #18 Ground Effect can not participate in Istanbul. We will be back next race at Spa
