That's nice for you, I provided proof that it happens with two wheels on the track ask Simon, perhaps you took different lines, so the anti-cut does not work as intended. Again congrats but I was not prepared to risk damaging someone else's race.

  2. Congratulation to the Racewinners and the podium. Great job guys.

Thanks to P1 for the amazing event, for the organisation and the work in the background. Thanks to everyone involved in the stream and racecontrol service. You all made a very nice raceevent happen.

To our own race. Sebastian made a well job in Quali and first stint until his wheel suddenly stopped working. So he had to dc and come back. After that we were able to make up some positions, but then we struggled and made a few mistakes which resulted in a damaged car multiple times. All in all, we had first no luck and then we were not having our best day. In the end it was P9.
I personally enjoyed the time in the car anyway. Overall, the skill and the behavior of the drivers were very good from my point of view. I am looking forward to the next race at bathurst, cant wait to race again. :D

But there are also a few things, i am asking to myself:
    - How can it be, that there are poeple on the waitlist, but only 44? of 50 teams are at the starting line? There was a discussion about to many Rennsimulanten Teams on entrylist. In the stream it was also mentioned, there will be changes. I just want to mention, that all of our teams in the list were driving. Other teams were signed in, but dont show up?
    - What about making participation in a testrace mandatory? Poeple wondered about computer performance (and BoP) on raceday. More testrace participants could help to find this kind of problems. Roughly 70 of 130 signed in drivers took part in testraces. We had 3 testraces, this should be enough to fit in everyones calander.
    - to Adam, havent you been part of BoP testteam? Anyway you were free in your choice of the car, so dont blame others for making a better job/choice than you.

Once again thanks to P1 :D

    Greetings
    Team Rennsimulanten 1, car #911

The issues of turn 4 and frame rate were both brought up before the race, regardless of attendance of the test races.

@Jan Studenski Why do you think that as a touring car you have the right to a) intentionally block gt3's, b) swerve into them as they're lapping you for the 10th time and c) flash your lights as we pass as if we've done something wrong? You're in a different race with a different class of car, so don't do that! Incredibly frustrating and dangerous, such a terrible display of driving I've not seen before. Everyone else was great, TC's were holding their line as we passed and other gt3's were very respectful of the blue flags.

Apart from that, thank you P1 for a well organised race, I know our team really enjoyed taking part in this and are looking forward to the next one

I noticed that too and I think its a hit in the face to everyone on the reserve list and ready to race.

I actually had the feeling anticut was disabled. There was a time, days before the race, where you got cut track warnings at several places, but then it changed somehow and since then I never got one anymore.

Someone is mad, idk your car, but there are at least 5 GTs that need to learn to be more patient going for the lapping, there is plenty of space on the straights, instead of divebombing us TRGs all the time very dangerously. Stuff like divebombing into T1 from more than 1 car lenght behind, diving into the kink, trying to go around the outside in the Carusell, etc., especially Sector 3 though.
Most GTs did an awesome job, there were only a few to complain about, but some don't seem to care ...

Ofc I flash when a GT divebombs and I lose massively time because they hold me up like crazy on the apex trying to go back to the racing line, or when they go offtrack and dangerously rejoin the track. A divebomb by a GT vs TRG doesn't work very well cause the braking distance is pretty much the same.

Yep I understand about divebombs but when coming out of the carousel behind you I moved to the right to get past and twice you moved to block me pushing me wide and nearly onto the grass. There's more than enough time for a gt to get past with its superior acceleration so I don't know why you have such an aversion to it happening?

I was talking about the physical anti-cut measure, the serrated curb, not an arbitrary software line you cross and get a warning. Anyway Simon knows.

Yes at the beginning I did that, in the rain it was very dangerous and the acceleration was clearly not enough, I even saw a collision in front of me because of it, nearly got collected by it, but then like 2h into the race I realized that the acceleration is enough cause the track dried enough, but realized it late (sorry) but then stopped doing it. There were still some GTs that tried it very late, ending 2x in contact and a lot more in going slow through the corner.
We talk about slight swerving btw. to make clear, plz don't do it, if someone went for it, I didn't force it, that would be stupid.
Bathurst this will be much more criticial btw. and you saw already what happend at Road Atlanta, rather deny 1 lapping than it ending in tears, on Road America there were enough straights to compensate.
Endurance Racing is won by consistency and amount of incidents.

I will have a look in the replay for you and see for myself if there is still optimization to be done. But I think some more rules would be nice in that regard, concerning when you can claim a line and when not, as a lapping car from a different class, to avoid such dangerous dives.

Well you clearly didn't stop doing it as I was racing in the last 2 hours. It honestly wasn't slight swerving and if it was I wouldn't need to lock my brakes to avoid you or the grass. I just found it to be overly aggressive driving for absolutely zero reason.

I'll move on but please tone it down a bit

Thanks also from me for the Team "RS" Rennsimulanten to the Orga and all participants and grats first to my two Christians for winning GT(1)-Class and all other victorious drivers, even BMW-Cup winners! In my opinion the race has had his up´s and down´s, but not more than expected. Multiclass has had his problems and will have problems in future. That´s part of endurance racing, but i think, it becomes better and better last races.

To be honest, on one side we could be glad to have such an big and competitive grid. On the other side we had lost a bit the harmonic manners. It has performed more to driving against all others than with all others and searching and fighting for his own advantage. Yes, we´re doing E-Sports, but i think at P1-Gaming we are playing together, there is nothing to win or to earn and no one of our team, winning several events last years, was headhunted by league-teams. So i think fun should be first aim of all, P1, all teams and all drivers! I´m nerved by never ending whining about BOP, but i´m angry as Dennis, if we had to justify because we sign up six cars and with that more than one tenth of the grid, but we are all in the grid. Others drove hundreds of laps and notice not until race day, not to can take part without risk others races??? What a shame and very pity for cars on reserve list, but first guy shit on my drivers because of standing beside race track on empty test server for some seconds; omg. For me, teams/drivers handling in this way, not unsubscribe early before race, should be blocked for next race. It´s simply not sportsmanlike! I think P1 24h-series lives from respectful manners, not from self-appointed wannabe world champions, which demand better circumstances, but won´t be constructive or when, only doing it for him selfs advantages. But we don´t understand, why teams sign up and send skins, and didn´t take part at the race?! As i said, -next race spectators or reserve list until one week before race.

For me, if we want more meaningful values, we all should do our best for creating this values by participating in testraces. I think it´s time to make it mandatory for every driver to taking part at one test race and place some hurdles. It should be possible for every driver to complete an hour of racing, or minimum 75%. Did he not in first race, -next attempt second test race. It´s as well an part of respect to P1-Gaming, to give them the opportunity to do an good job as most of us expected, but they can´t if we didn´t help. It´s not only the laid table, especially if someone expect more and more and more. If someone means it´s too much for his calendar, -it´s not problem of P1 or the other teams!

Now we are looking forward to the Mountain. First P1 should fix the date of the race, so all teams could arrange their drivers. Voting phase deleted this time and so we could start into planning early. P1 should fix, if Quali will starts on raceday or not, but one week before it´s 24h Nords in real racing and lot of endurance fans will take part, particularly Germans at trackside, Rennsimulanten has a lot from around Nürbungring. Even for testraces problematic. But as i said, without voting phase we had time enough, if we start early...

    Have a good time,

    René

Rene, I don't understand why you want to punish drivers who didn't take part out of respect for other drivers. I explained why I didn't race but I guess you need details. I was allowed to test the first attempt to 'fix' turn 4, it wasn't any good so Simon made further adjustments but I did not get to test this and it was released anyway. I have had problems since and mentioned them, I made the decision to pull out with a sad heart. I was one of those on the reserve list and tried hard to get a drive. I had hoped I could maybe avoid having the car tipped over in the race, but when in my own last minute race practiced I did it 3 times when low on fuel because of that turn, I just could not take part knowing that I could spoil somebodies race.

I am not complaining about P1 or anyone, I have congratulated the winners and thanked P1, I am just saying why I didn't race and it was too late to notify anyone. Besides there was only one person left on the reserve list below me. If I could have given him the drive I would have. Also I was given the drive at the last minute, Thursday, no time to form a team but I did ask P1 if there were any drivers desperate for a drive who wanted to join my team, at the time they didn't know any.

If you want to make attendance of test races mandatory that's fine, just try and take a consensus on what times suit everyone.

Really bad race for us..massive sorry to the #83 car at the start..not sure if i missed my brake marker or was catching up too quick due to traffic in front. 100% my fault..tried to avoid hitting you by going off but obviously didn't go wide enough . Sorry to Josh my team mate...probably one of the worst 90 mins driving ever.

Congrats to all the winners and thanks P1 for putting on a great event.

  13. Race wasn't too bad for the things that happened to us. In the Quali i didn't got a good lap together cause i struggled a bit with my settings in the car. Race start wasn't too bad could stay out of trouble and then i got turned around and into the wall by someone in the last corner on Lap 1...to that Guy; it's a 6 hour race - it's wet on the inside and i had to back off cause of the cars in front...come on. Stupid and unnecessary. From there we had somehow a strange damage to the car which cost us around a sec a lap and it wasn't reperable in the menu...from that damage i also had a strange wobbling going on at the straights and the car was a little bit lose in s3 which made it harder to drive and i lost it at some point which gave us another repair Stop. Whyever this engine related Damage got fixed when Simon was on his second Stint and from there on the Pace was as expected. So we tried to catch up a bit, then Simon made a little mistake which gave us DT which is really painful on that circuit with 60k's in the pitlane :D

@Jan Studenski Please be a bit easier on the Guys lapping you, you don't have to defend like if it is for a position. I had that multiple times with you, on the other hand if somethings happens you will blame the faster GT cars. I know you are also racing for positions but think about it. Most of the time it costs both cars more time then just letting him (the gt3) go by.:)

Please don´t try to tell us Ivor, that all the testing and the test races were not enough to learn car and track. If there is somewhere an ground wave or something on track, you have to adapt on it, and not to complain at organizer. I dind´t read from much more other drivers about such problems, so it seems it has or should be changed only for you. If track didn´t mach to your car or setup, YOU have to change something, and if the car can´t more, you have to drive an other line, so as all other drivers did. So i can´t follow your argumentation, that you have waited for P1 making the track as well, that it matches to your preferences!
I have seen lot of Tourers on the roof because of high Curbs, but no one demanded to change something on it, they have to drive carefully or take the risk. So for me stands, -if you didn´t realize one week before race, that track and you won´t match, it´s not really sportsmanlike to notify all the involved one raceday, that you won´t participate!

Another (I received a penalty in Atlanta because of put a lagging driver out of the track, with whom I didn't have a single touch at all...) "interesting" decision from the stewards. Mr.Gary Waring - actually being 9 laps down - holding me off for over half a lap on the quickest part of the circuit. He had at least three clear chances to let me through (what he immediately did with, while Edelmann Admin was behind him...), but refused to do it. At one point he even took a defensive line against me (???).
At this moment - arriving to the tricky part of the track - I realized I have to wait until the next long straight to overtake him by myself. So I sticked to him as much as I could, but a big surprise came when he simply lifted on the middle of the road, leaving me no chance to avoid collision.

Judgement: 10 seconds stop/go for me, because of dangerous driving.

    Well...well...

So guys, I'm the complete idiot who finished 6th and was flashing my lights and didn't notice I'd left them off :| As a result of that on the cool down lap I was DQ'd so I jumped into the stewards room and Simon said he'd un-DQ me but the session ended as soon as he said that. Just wondering if there's a way to fix the final results so my idiocy doesn't cost the team a good finish after being 29th on the opening lap and climbing all that way, especially seeing as it was after the flag and I had already finished. Thanks for any help.

    trust me. We will.

I hope You will be good during overlaping as we where for GT1 Camaros on RAmerica.

Jordy, just look at the fastest lap times. Camaro with finger in ass was able to make 2.03 and 2.02 (!) in race mode.
None BMW was not able to crack 2.04. Welcome to my "world". Whats more, look at Quali results. Where top3 BMW where (!) and where top3 Camarso where.

One of the characteristics of the BMW is that is has less straight line speed than other cars, surely you should know that by now since you always drive it? road America is a power sensitive circuit with the straights being so long, you should have easily saw this coming.
